cont. from "memories": than the Magnum Force at Cedar Point. Suzanne survived incredible sadness and hurdles in her adult life. Yet, she maintained her integrity and resiliency by ending her career teaching sixth-grade science at Louis Agassiz, a Blue Ribbon Cleveland school. Those students were the fortunate recipients of a master teacher with both knowledge and savoir-faire. Their only choice was to learn and to behave in the process.
In a graduating class of approximately 640 students at Valley Forge High School, everyone knew who Sue Carpenter was. There was nothing "vanilla" about her. She exuded a spark, a palpable aura. My brother, Roger, who graduated one year before us quotes: "Sue brightened up a lot of my teenage days."
That is an apt summation of Sue, a beautiful hummingbird who is now sharing her honey in an edenic paradise with only clear horizons.cont. from "memories": than the Magnum Force at Cedar Point.
