My sincere condolences to the Hale family. I worked closely with Harvey for 12 years at J&L. He was one of the finest men I've ever known. He was devoted to his family, his job, and all people in general. I share your loss.

I was lucky enough to see Mr. Hale again at Thanksgiving and heard him play some Christmas carols on the piano. He was an amazing man who gave me encouragement during a low point in my life. I will never forget the letter he wrote me. Glad he is out of pain and in a better place now.

My grandfather has been there for every step of my life from my first steps to commencements. He taught me the 'at' family: cat, rat, hat. He taught me to play the piano, until I got too frustrated trying to add in the left hand. He tried to teach me bridge, but had to be satisfied with my willingness to play Rummy or Uno, two of his favorite card games. He and grandma hid plastic Easter eggs filled with candy
