Bruce A. McElroy

Bruce graduated from Elyria High School, inducted in the Hall of Fame with his football team of 1973 and attended Bowling Green State University. Bruce served as the first black quarterback for EHS. The team never lost a game when he played and they were undefeated that year. He was employed as a Detention Officer in Cuyahoga County for 18 years. He was a member of the Masonic Sedonia Lodge #93 of Elyria and was raised in Jones Chapel. He enjoyed sports, poker, and following the daily news.
